This year's edition of the next Summer Grand Prix tournament is fast approaching. ☀️ This time, our moderator @jcoob will be responsible for hosting the event, so we are convinced that the organization will be at the highest level. This is not the only novelty - for the first time the competition will take place in the classic style, so the gibbon technique will not be allowed. We are extremely curious how the competitors will cope with the challenge, especially those who have so far avoided the "classic". It will certainly be interesting, so we invite you to follow the competition and, of course, actively participate! Start this Sunday at 20:00.
PC version records
As we mentioned in the previous news, record categories for the PC version have appeared on the website, which are intended to sort out the rather complicated situation for this platform. Thanks to the hard work of the moderator @Darek, we have just managed to complete the list of records in the "before EZW" category, i.e. the oldest and probably the most reliable results. Therefore, you can easily get acquainted with the past achievements of "old masters", such as Roman Karwat, Remigiusz Górniak or the Jeznik brothers, which we strongly encourage you to do.
Ranks
Another new feature on the website is the ranking system for users. The method of awarding distinctions is described in a new, separate guide for the website. We hope that this functionality will positively diversify the profile system and motivate you to constantly improve your achievements, which we sincerely wish you!
These are probably the last major changes we have prepared for you in the near future. Meanwhile, we are going on a well-deserved vacation, not forgetting, of course, about the summer tournament. We'll be back around fall with more news. We also wish you happy holidays and, of course, long tournament flights!
