The off season is now underway, i.e. the period between DSJ2 tournaments. However, this doesn't mean that nothing is happening in the world of Deluxe Ski Jump 2. On the contrary - many players train regularly, sometimes achieving spectacular results! In this post, we will present and summarize the events of recent weeks. ๐
Jakub Bastek @jcoob shocked the game community again with his skills. He started his march (or rather flight) to new records from the ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟENG hill, where on April 14 he made the first jump in history above the limit of 61 meters (61.03 m) in the mobile version of the game, improving his own hill record by 23 cm. Exactly 2 weeks later, we witnessed another breakthrough - an amazing 180.22 m on ๐ซ๐ทFRA, which meant beating the previous record by as much as 61 cm and thus the first result over 180 m on this hill. ๐ช
The May weekend brought even more sensational events. @Dawid Glinka with his attempt at 230.04 m on the hill ๐ญ๐บHUN broke the previous record by as much as 2.24 m, somehow taking revenge on Jakub for the lost UWR on ๐ซ๐ทFRA. As he himself admits, he achieved his goal after numerous attempts. It didn't take long for Jakub to respond. Just a day later, another sensation broke out - a new record on ๐ช๐ชEST - 187.52 m, an improvement of almost 1 meter! Certainly no one expected this. The players unanimously considered this result to be the best in the history of DSJ2 Mobile! ๐
But that's not the end! There was also a lot going on in the "classic". @Darek Klimek showed off his skills in this style, first improving his own UWRC on the hill ๐จ๐ฟCZE (twice: 156.52 m and 156.60 m), and then beating the classic record on ๐ท๐บRUS by almost a meter, reaching an incredible 230.18 m! This is only the second jump above the 230 m mark on this hill, and definitely the first "classic". ๐ Darek's another classic records from this period are ๐ฏ๐ตJPN 236.29 m, ๐ฉ๐ชGER 135.03 m, ๐ณ๐ดNOR 103.59 m, ๐ฐ๐ฟKZK 105.31 m, ๐ฐ๐ทKOR 174.90 m.
@konradpindur (๐ฎ๐ธICL 215.04 m, ๐ฆ๐บAUS 297.25 m) and @DawidMeus (๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟENG 59.91 m) also attempted to break classical records (unfortunately unsuccessful). Next time it will work! ๐
It is also worth noting the first successful flight this year above the 297-metre limit, of course on ๐ฆ๐บAUS (297.01 m, Dawid Glinka). However, we hope that the longest jump will be significantly improved by the end of the year! ๐
As you can see, the off season in DSJ2 can also bring a lot of emotions and unforgettable moments. The lack of tournament pressure often has a positive effect on players. We are looking forward to the next events and even more great jumps! ๐
