It is no secret that many leading ski jumping competitors tried their hand at Deluxe Ski Jump 2. One of them was the German ski jumper Severin Freund, winner of the World Cup in the 2014/2015 season. He started his adventure with DSJ2 at the age of 12, when he received his first computer from his parents. To this day, his name can be found in the rankings on the official website of the game's creator. His greatest success in the game was the world record in the distance of the flight on the Slovenia K250 hill. Jussi Koskela admitted that Severin gave him some valuable tips on improving the realism of the game.
