Finally someone dared. 😀 There will be an opportunity to check if it also works for PC.
I don't really care, because I don't have a chance anyway, but it would probably be better to let AM method go. Otherwise there will always be talk that you have an advantage. 😕
Some name would be nice.
I will let Zeppelin know by email.
@Dawid,
Hmm. I added the name of the tournament when setting up. Something like the Computer World Cup 2023-2024.
Can you add? Similarly to compare it to the mobile one
Maybe without the AM method, because currently only 2 people use it - and it is not allowed to share it, so this number will not increase, let's say 2 people and a third one in part. And it gives you a big advantage in many aspects and it's not very competitive 🤔 You39;ll win with or without it, so you would give others at least a semblance of a chance to win 😉
@Dawid@Darek
I think it's probably time to ask Severin if his way of playing is really as classic as you think.
His jumps should not be included in the era as you called it after EZW.
@Domin, that's why I wrote that 2.5 people use it, because Severin uses an incomplete method :) probably a tick placement, as in the version of the method that Andrzej wanted to make public, but decided not to. Only without a seed list, so only by locating the best seed available in the loop. But I could be wrong🤷♂️
@Zeppelin, Do You think Your jumps should be in AM or in after EZW era?
Idea of create this 2 grups, was to separate jumps made by "normal windserching", and thouse made by "unknow for everyone" patents to find good and extrem good winds.
Like we all know, jumping "clean" give much less oportunnity to have really good wind in air, especially when we start from low values. So if we have knowlage how to jump far away, its take less time/its easier to jump crazy far away if we use any kind of helping method.
@Domin, that's what I guessed and I didn't really know what to do with it, because @Zeppelin doesn't consider his jumps as AM and I don't know exactly what he do either.
Honestly, I didn't take AM into account in tournaments and the script only takes jumps from "after EZW". If the wind has ADHD and is around 5.0 in flight, I assign it to AM, and then the script won't take it into the tournament. Of course I can change it, but I don't know if I should. You might have to use more "accessible" winds, but then it is still somehow taken in advance and others have to search for it. Is it then very different from a banned editor?
If this is to be a World Cup tournament, I would rather see it differently. Maybe the best option would actually be an editor with constant wind or some allowed range. I could even make an additional category for "website records" or something. Of course, we lose the element of luck with the wind, which has its own charm (additional emotions), but it's something for something - in real jumps they also compensated for it with wind points.
Actually, I might organize a tournament just for myself, just to be motivated to break records on several hills.
I think we will skip this tournament I started, or some basic rules will be established for everyone in the new tournament - too many unnecessary doubts, and I don't know if I will have enough time to get involved.
That will be better :)
